  My name is Julian Hoxter. At work I'm the Screenwriting Coordinator for the famous Cinema Department at San Francisco State University. I make movies, write books and scripts and teach talented students. It's a good life! This blog is a chance to share some thoughts about writing and the movies, celebrate student achievements and offer some friendly resources for aspiring screenwriters. Some of these materials are now part of my upcoming book, Write What You Don't Know: An Accessible Manual For Screenwriters to be published in August 2011 by Continuum Books, NY.
