Reaching our 14th Annual screenwriting competition is a milestone for Scriptapalooza. We are just as dedicated and enthusiastic to promote writers through our competition now as we were 13 years ago. Our number one priority has always been the writer, from choosing our judges to creating opportunities for writers. We continue to surround ourselves with reputable and successful companies, including the many production companies, literary agents and managers who read all the entered scripts.
This year we are awarding over $25,000 in cash and software prizes.
Our First Place Winner will receive $10,000 Cash and all our Genre Winners will receive $500 Cash.
But the most important prize of all is that Scriptapalooza will promote, pitch and push the Semifinalists and higher for an entire year. We have relationships with producers, managers and agents that are actively looking for material.
Also we are now offering Feedback when you enter Scriptapalooza.
We are accepting screenplays. Early bird deadline is Jan 5th. Entry fee is $40.
